Greg Davies holds an MA in art history and, over the past fifteen years, has taught courses at McMaster University, Guelph University and the University of Toronto. In his capacity as assistant professor at McMaster's School of the Arts he was also responsible for designing and leading their overseas courses in Italy. The first of these was launched in 2011. This was followed in 2013 by a second travel course on Baroque art in Rome

Greg's interest in art and art history has led to his involvement in a number of projects and initiatives. In 2013 he curated an exhibition of Baroque art at the McMaster Museum. At present he is curating a second exhibition and leading a team of artists in the design of a non-profit, community art collective.

In 2015, Greg set out to to establish Istoria Art Tours in order to bring the experience of his overseas courses to a wider public.
